Apply for Housing at Florham

All Incoming First-Year and New Students

New students to Fairleigh Dickinson University receive housing information upon their admission to the University with their Admissions Acceptance Package from the Office of Admissions (Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Admissions, or International Admissions). A Residence Hall Deposit of $200 is required of all new resident students. Applications and Residence Hall Deposits for new students are due May 1 for Fall applicants and December 1 for Spring applicants.

Returner Student Housing at Florham

All resident students are required to pay the $200 Residence Hall deposit at Make a Payment. Applications and deposits for returning resident students are due April 1 in order to be eligible for Housing Selection.

All students must apply for housing using our online application via MyHousing.

Create Your FDU NetID

In order for first-year and new students to access the online application and apply for on-campus housing on the Florham Campus, you will need to have an FDU NetID. If you are a New Student, you can create your FDU NetID at WebMail. Under “Webmail Account”, select “Request New NetID”.

IMPORTANT: After you create your FDU NetID, please wait 24 business hours before attempting to log-in to MyHousing to apply for housing. Your FDU NetID information must be pulled into the MyHousing system before you are able to access the site.

Submit Your Housing Deposit

All new and returning residential students must pay a nonrefundable $200 Residence Hall Deposit for each academic school year.

• Select “Residence Hall Deposit Only”
• Submit Payment

Students Under the Age of 18

FDU students under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian accept the Terms and Conditions of the Housing Contract on their behalf. In order to process an application, the following must be completed.

1. During the application process, at the Emergency Contact section, students under the age of 18 must provide the name of the parent or legal guardian who will be signing the Housing Contract on their behalf.
2. Upon completion of the Housing Application, the person indicated as the Emergency Contact will receive an email, at the email address provided by the student, with a link, prompting them to provide their electronic signature, on the Housing Contract, on behalf of the student.
3. The Housing Application will not be processed until a parent or legal guardian provides their electronic signature on the Housing Contract.

FDU students 18 years or older will accept the Terms and Conditions of their contract by providing their electronic signature during the application process.

Off-site housing may be provided when on-campus spaces are filled. Students assigned to off-site housing are held to all Fairleigh Dickinson University policies unless otherwise noted in writing.
