Academic Profile
Sourav Mukherjee is a full-time Lecturer at the Gildart Haase School of Computer Science and Engineering at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Vancouver. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), USA, in 2007 and 2010, respectively. Prior to his graduate studies, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jadavpur University, Calcutta, India in 2005.
His doctoral research focused on the study of Stochastic Graph Grammars as probability models for graph data. In addition to academic research, he is experienced in software development at various companies including Microsoft and Amazon.
His research interests include Machine Learning, Grammatical Models, Graph-Theoretic Algorithms, Distributed Systems, and Design and Analysis of Algorithms.
