Academic Profile

Appointed to the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) Long Term Care Task Force. Appointed by Governor Christopher Christie to serve on the New Jersey State Board of Pharmacy, also serving as Chair of the Pharmacy Technician Certification Subcommittee and the NJ Department of Health Drug Diversion Coalition. Director of National Accounts for Azurity, a specialty non-sterile 503A compounding company from Boston, Massachusetts. Serves as a Consultant Clinical/Regulatory Affairs Pharmacist for Generation Pharmacy Group, a Consultant Pharmacist/Industry Liaison/Partner for TOPGx, a Pharmacist-Driven pharmacogenomics clinical software solution for personalized medicine. Past Resident from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Residency Program and graduate of the ASHP Pharmacy Leadership Institute at the Boston University School of Management. New Jersey Pharmacist Immunizer and Certified Pharmacogenomacist. Worked in numerous hospital pharmacy corporate, director, operations and managerial roles. Served as President of the North Chapter and Director of Organizational Affairs of the New Jersey Society of Health-System Pharmacists (NJSHP). Served two terms (2007 and 2012) as President of the NJSHP and served as an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists Regional Delegate for six years. Received the Greg Santora Leadership Award from NJSHP (2012) and was awarded as Fellow for ASHP (2012). Participated with the Greater New York Hospital Association Pharmacy Advisory Committee. Served on NJ Governor John Corzine’s Task Force On Health Care Professional Responsibility and Reporting, The Division of Consumer Affairs Pharmacy Controlled Substances Security Committee, and The NJ Department of Health Emergency Preparedness Standards Committee. Presented numerous posters and lectures on pharmacy law, clinical practice, and pharmaceutical practice topics to numerous academic and professional organizations.
