Academic Profile

I am a dedicated Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of experience providing comprehensive care to diverse female populations across all life stages. I specialize in preventative health, reproductive health, and obstetric care. My practice has a strong focus on patient education and building trust.

I began my academic career as a nursing instructor for undergraduate nursing students in India. After moving to the Middle East, I worked in various nursing roles in the area of maternal and child health, including direct patient care, nurse educator, and nurse manager. After migrating to the U.S., I pursued my academic interests as an adjunct faculty member, specializing in the areas of oncology and high-risk obstetrics while working in nurse management at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. In 2010, I was recognized as Assistant Nurse Manager of the Year.  My advanced practice education was completed at Rutgers University (MSN/WHNP, DNP), including induction in Sigma Theta Tau.
