Academic Profile
Dr. Kenny received his Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from Rutgers University. He is a recipient of the Distinguished Faculty Award and an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Dr. Kenny teaches courses in Criminology, Victimology, Juvenile Delinquency, White Collar Crime and serves as the school’s Criminal Justice Internship coordinator. Prior experience at the U.S. Treasury Dept. includes Chief of Advisory, Chief of Review, District Quality Officer, Group Manager of Field Investigations, and Treasury Officer. He has facilitated professional seminars in School/ Workplace Violence, Bullying, Anger Management, Threat Assessment, Stalking, and Partner Abuse. Dr. Kenny was selected to the U.S. Justice Dept./National Victim Center Work Group on Workplace Violence, NJ Superior Court Juvenile Conference Committee, and United Educators Panel on Threat Assessment Teams.
