Academic Profile
Dr. Jeeho Ryoo is an Assistant Professor within the Gildart Haase School of Computer Sciences and Engineering at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Vancouver. With a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, he brings extensive expertise to his position. Prior to joining FDU, he held a faculty position in the School of Computing and Academic Studies at British Columbia Institute of Technology. Additionally, he has industry experience as a software engineer at both Oracle (2017) and ARM (2018) in the San Francisco Bay Area.
His research encompasses various areas, including computer architecture, memory systems, operating systems, energy-efficient hardware/software co-design, and emerging workload and system characterization. Demonstrating a strong commitment to collaboration, he endeavors to enhance cooperation among hardware, software, and applications to achieve superior levels of performance and efficiency while addressing the evolving challenges within the field of computer sciences and engineering.
