Academic Profile

Jamal Alsakran is a lecturer at the Gildart Haase School of Computer Science and Engineering at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Vancouver. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Kent State University, USA, in 2012. His doctoral dissertation focused on Information Visualization and Visual Analytics of multidimensional data. Jamal has extensive teaching experience and before joining FDU he taught for many years in the USA, Jordan, and UAE. He is actively pursuing research in various areas of Information Visualization and Machine Learning, and he has many publications in scientific journals and conferences.
