Academic Profile
Dr. Hongyan Li’s research interests are in the areas of corporate finance and empirical asset pricing. Her papers have been presented in conferences including American Finance Association (AFA) Annual Meeting and Financial Management Association (FMA) Annual Meeting, Before joining Virginia Tech in pursuit of a PhD, she had worked as a full-time instructor at Northern Michigan University and received high teaching evaluations. She also participated in the CFA track and passed all the exams. Dr. Hongyan Li joined FDU in 2018. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and biking.
