Academic Profile
Christopher Stubbs is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Technology at the Gildart Haase School of Computer Sciences and Engineering. Prior to joining FDU, he worked as a USDA NIFA Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Idaho. He obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at New York University. His research focuses on developing new computational technologies to investigate the hierarchical biomechanical structure of plants to solve prevalent but under-researched problems in plant science and agronomy.
