On Thursday, September 5, 2024 at the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park, NJ, U.S. Representative Mikie Sherrill (D), NJ District 11, delivered remarks at the Morris County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Washington Update. Fairleigh Dickinson University served as a presenting sponsor of the event.

The event was coordinated in part by Prof. Dan Cassino.

It was an interesting and fun experience getting to attend the lunch, not only did we have the opportunity to briefly speak with the Congresswoman herself,” said Sperduto, “but we were able to network with multiple lawyers and politicians in the area. I had a wonderful conversation with the Mayor of Chatham, Carolyn Dempsey, about the local politics and the work she’d been doing. It was a truly great opportunity and I am incredibly thankful to have been one of the students invited.
