FDU’s School of Nursing and Allied Health now offering a Master’s Level Entry to RN Practice Degree
Innovative program designed to prepare college graduates for careers in clinical nursing and nursing leadership
Teaneck, NJ, January 11, 2024 — FDU’s School of Nursing and Allied Heath is proud to announce the launch of the new 2-year (6-semester) Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Entry-to-RN-Practice program. MSN Entry-to-RN-Practice program graduates are eligible to take the NCLEX-RN for licensure as a registered nurse.
Comprising a comprehensive 72-credit curriculum, the MSN Entry-to-Practice program extends opportunities for college graduates to enter the nursing profession beyond the BSN Accelerated program (currently a 64-credit curriculum), by providing students with more in-depth education. This additional coursework and elevated degree level better positions graduates to excel in leadership roles within the healthcare sector.
Graduates of the MSN Entry-to-Practice program can seamlessly transition into the FDU Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program with 9 credits already completed, emphasizing our commitment to supporting continuous learning and professional development.
