FDU Joins Prestigious BASTA/Google Code2Career Challenge

February 12, 2025 – Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) is proud to announce its acceptance into the highly competitive BASTA/Google Code2Career Challenge, a groundbreaking initiative designed to empower students with unparalleled access to the Google Software Engineer Program (G-SWEP).

Through this exclusive partnership, FDU students will benefit from:

  • 1:1 mentorship from Google engineers
  • Career readiness workshops grounded in Basta’s best-in-class career navigation content
  • A 10-week journey designed to help students excel in technical interviews and launch successful careers in technology

FDU is honored to be among the select number of higher education partners chosen for this transformative opportunity. As part of the inaugural cohort, 19 Computer Science majors from both New Jersey campuses have applied to participate in the program, positioning themselves for enhanced career prospects in the tech industry.
