Regional Center for Learning Disabilities
FDU’s award-winning Regional Center for Learning Disabilities is recognized among the nation’s leading programs for students with learning disabilities.
Our structured program of academic support, personalized advisement, and counseling services gives students the resources they need to succeed while participating in traditional college classes.
Since our founding more than 30 years ago, FDU’s Regional Center has helped thousands of students from throughout the United States develop the academic and self-advocacy skills essential to college success.
Academic support makes a critical difference in the early success of our students. Support sessions are kept small, individualized, and flexible, and involve a variety of teaching techniques, including metacognitive strategies to build student confidence and performance in all content areas.
NOTE: Applicants to the Regional Center must have a diagnosed learning disability.
