BACK TO SCHOOL

The ‘Back to School’ fair was held on Friday, May 31 from 11 am to 2 pm in Cambie Student lounge.
Students got the opportunity to interact with various departments, learn more about their functions and address any questions they had. The ‘Spin-the-wheel’ game was a favorite as students got the chance to win various FDU merch and prizes.

FDU Vancouver gave away 10 free tickets to a Whitecaps soccer match on Saturday, April 6. The lucky winners enjoyed a thrilling game at BC place stadium where the Vancouver Whitecaps team won by 4 -0.

The Holi celebration at Fairleigh Dickinson University was an explosion of color and joy, uniting students in a vibrant tapestry of laughter and camaraderie. Traditional music set the rhythm for energetic dance performances by the Dancing Feet Club, showcasing the rich cultural diversity of the campus. Amidst clouds of colorful powders, friendships were renewed and bonds strengthened.

Pink Shirt Day

FDU Vancouver students, staff, and faculty came together to celebrate Pink Shirt Day on February 28, an annual event against bullying. The participants wore pink shirts to bring awareness to the issue of bullying and to encourage all to practice kindness in their daily lives.
Garba Event
October 27, 2023
FDU Vancouver organized the Garba night event on October 27th. It was celebrated with dancing, music, and vibrant festivities. Attendees dressed in traditional Gujarati attire and competed for prizes like the best dancer award and best costume prize. The festivities featured garba, a circular dance originating in Gujarat. The event was attended by over 50 people and was covered on the FDU Vancouver Instagram and Facebook pages.
