CGA and CMA Articulations
FDU – Vancouver is pleased to announce the articulation of courses with the Certified General Accountants (CGA) Association of British Columbia, and the Certified Managerial Accountants (CMA) Society of British Columbia.
Students wishing to continue with either of these professional accounting designation programs will be able to receive credit for courses completed at Fairleigh Dickinson University – Vancouver.
About the CGA
The Certified General Accountants Association of British Columbia is the largest and fastest-growing accounting body in B.C. The CGA-BC is the governing and regulatory body responsible for the training and certification of B.C.’s more than 14,000 CGAs and CGA students. In total, there are more than 68,000 CGAs and students worldwide.
CGAs advise businesses throughout BC and around the world in industry, commerce, finance, government, public practice and other areas where accounting and financial management is required. Their clients range from major corporations and industries to entrepreneurs.

About the CMA
The Certified Management Accountants Society of British Columbia (CMA British Columbia) is a self-governing organization that awards the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation to individuals that are proficient in strategic financial management in British Columbia.
Representing over 4000 CMAs and 1000 CMA students in British Columbia, CMA British Columbia maintains accreditation, regulates standards and conduct, and enforces continuing professional development of Certified Management Accountants in British Columbia.
There are over 40,000 CMAs and 10,000 CMA students in Canada and around the world.
