Diverse Student Union

The Diverse Student Union is to create a safe space for everyone; no matter their race, religion, sexual orientation, political beliefs, etc. DSU wants to make everyone who feels excluded on campus to feel included. All FDU students are welcome to participate in all programs and activities that are offered, regardless of the student’s race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, sexual preference or gender expression, or any other protected status under law.

AURA (Appreciating & Understanding the Rights of All)

The purpose of AURA is to provide a safe community that promotes a human and real understanding of the LGBTQ person, lifestyle, problems, and history. AURA is here to support victims of discrimination and harassment by providing reference to quality counseling. AURA provides everyone of the FDU Community an opportunity to express themselves in a positive environment free of hostility and discrimination. People of all identities (gay, straight, lesbian, bisexual, asexual, transgender, genderqueer, nonbinary, and more, of course!) are welcome. All FDU students are welcome to participate in all programs and activities that are offered, regardless of the student’s race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, sexual preference or gender expression, or any other protected status under law.

South Asian Student Association

Latino American Student Organization (LASO)

The mission of this organization is to educate the FDU community on Latin American culture and to promote campus diversity. American Sign Language Club

The purpose of the American Sign Language Club is to raise awareness for the deaf community, allow students to learn about deaf culture, acquire the skills to communicate through effective use of signing and provide opportunities for the deaf and hearing communities. I Am That Girl (IATG)

IATG aims to bring attention to gender equality, race equality and the LGBTQ+ community, and bring feminist activism to campus.
