International Graduate Admissions

International students may apply through www.fdu.edu/myintlapp

Any valid visa holder in the US and any student outside the US who will apply for a visa must apply with an international graduate application.

NOTE: American citizens, regardless of where they live, must submit their application here.

If your transcripts, diploma, or any other academic documents are not in English, you MUST include an official English translation.

• APPLICANTS FROM INDIAN UNIVERSITIES: We require individual semester-wise marksheets and supplementary marksheets indicating all backlogs, retakes, attempts, and failures. If you cannot provide all marksheets, you must submit an Attempts Certificate from your university that indicates your total number of failures.
• Applicants with the equivalent of a three-year bachelor’s degree: Learn about FDU’s Bridge Programs.

• The GRE is required for most Graduate majors.

• Neither the GMAT nor GRE is required for:
  • MA and MFA in Animation
  • MS Biology
  • MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
  • MA in Communications
  • MA in Forensic Psychology
  • MHMS Master of Hospitality Management Studies
  • MPA Master of Public Administration
  • MSM Master of Sport Management
• Majors that are not available to F-1 and J-1 visa status students but do not require GRE or GMAT scores to apply:
  • MS in Cyber and Homeland Security Administration
  • MA and MFA in Creative Writing
  • MA in Higher Education Administration
  • MAS Master of Administrative Science
• NCLEX and proof of a valid New Jersey nursing license are required for all applicants to the M.S. in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs

If required by the program.

Detailing all professional and academic activities undertaken during and after graduation through the present (if required by the program).

Certain programs require three letters of recommendation. Please check your desired major’s department website for confirmation.

• Bank statements must indicate a balance that will cover your first year of tuition and living expenses.
• The Affidavit of Support must be in the name of the sponsor on your bank statement. Multiple bank statements require an affidavit from each sponsor. Self-sponsored applicants do not need an affidavit.
• Financial documents must be dated after February 1 for fall applicants or August 1 for spring applicants.
• Solvency certificates are not acceptable.
