Graduate Application Deadlines
When to Apply
Applicants seeking to enroll in any graduate degree or certificate program, or to register for classes at Fairleigh Dickinson University, must formally apply for admission.
Students are encouraged to apply at their earliest opportunity to allow ample time to complete the application process prior to the start of classes. Most graduate applications are processed on a rolling admissions basis throughout the year.
The exceptions are:
- PhD Clinical Psychology: December 15 (for fall of next year)
- Advanced PsyD School Psychology: March 1 (for fall of current calendar year)
- MA School Psychology: All applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis up until the March 15 deadline, with group interviews scheduled throughout February, March, and April. Applicants will be notified of their interview status within three weeks of submitting a complete application.
- MA Forensic Psychology: March 1 (for fall of current calendar year). Please note all applications will be reviewed after the March 1 deadline.
- Doctor of Occupational Therapy: April 15 (for summer of current calendar year)
- PharmD Pharmacy Doctorate: June 1 (for fall of current calendar year)
- MS Accounting, Track B for non-Accountants: June 1 (for fall of current calendar year for a cohort-based program); once an application is complete with all required admission documents, it will be reviewed and a decision will be made shortly after the application deadline.
- MS Supply Chain Management: June 1 (for fall of current calendar year for a cohort-based program); once an application is complete with all required admission documents, it will be reviewed and a decision will be made shortly after the application deadline.
- MA Health Science/ Clinical Research and Regulatory Science Tracks: July 1 (for fall of current calendar year) or December 1 (for spring of next calendar year)
- MS Clinical Psychopharmacology: Applications will be accepted on a rolling admissions basis until the cohort is full. It is recommended to begin courses in September. To that end, please submit your Fall semester application by July 15. To begin courses in January for the Spring semester, please submit your application by November 15.
- MS Physician Assistant Studies: August 1 (for January of next year)
- MSW (Traditional Track) and MSW Advanced Standing Track: August 1 (for fall of current calendar year)
- MA Clinical Mental Health Counseling: The FDU CMHC program enrolls new students in the Fall of each year. The application deadline is March 1 and the review of applications begins in January. Qualified applicants will be invited to an in-person interview starting in February.
- MPH Master of Public Health: August 15 (for Fall of current calendar year)
- MPH Master of Public Health: January 15 (for Spring of current calendar year)
- MPA/MPH Master of Public Administration/Master of Public Health Dual Master’s degree: August 15 (for Fall of current calendar year)
- MPA/MPH Master of Public Administration/Master of Public Health Dual Master’s degree: January 15 (for Spring of current calendar year)
