Chemistry Seminar Series

Each year, the Department invites speakers to talk on their research as part of a seminar course for undergraduate and graduate students. These talks provide the students with opportunities to see the broad spectrum of chemistry in academia and industry. Students are encouraged to use these seminars as models for how to present professional talks. Typical speakers are leading chemists from nearby chemical/pharmaceutical companies and universities. Students interact with the speakers, making connections that can help direct their futures.
