Annual Cybersecurity Symposium
Purpose of the Cybersecurity and Information Assurance Symposium
Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Center for Cybersecurity and Information Assurance hosts an annual symposium on relevant topics related to Cybersecurity and Information Assurance. Started in May 1, 2013, this forum gathers top security professionals from government, industry, and academia to present the current state of cybersecurity affecting our daily lives. The symposium raises the awareness of attendees about the cyber threats and some of the remedial measures. Among the various facets of this evolving area, focus is placed on singular themes each year.

The symposium continues to grow and evolve, providing student enrichment and, since September 2015, a platform for students to present relevant posters with an opportunity to be awarded IEEE North Jersey Cybersecurity Poster Award Cash Prizes.
