Transcripts

Official transcripts delivered electronically.

Ordering an official Fairleigh Dickinson University transcript has never been easier. Simply go to the Transcript Ordering Page, www.getmytranscript.org, enter the required information and the transcript will be delivered to your desired destination electronically.

Transcripts are processed within 3-5 business days except during peak times (beginning/end of terms) or during official university closures. Please check the appropriate academic calendar for Florham and Metropolitan Campuses or the Vancouver Campus for closure details.

Self-Service

Current ACTIVE students may view and print their transcript via Self-Service:

  • Log in (If you have trouble logging in to your Self-Service account, please contact the Help Desk
  • Click “Students”
  • Under “Academic Profile” – click “Transcript”
  • For “Transcript Type” – select appropriate type from drop down menu:

Vancouver students also have the option to view and print unofficial transcripts from Student Planning within Self-Service.

Transcript Types

AC: accelerated 5-year programs (excluding 4+1 programs)

EW: students who in are in, or began their studies in, a 2-year Associates degree program

UG: undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree students

GR: Graduate programs

CE: non-credit, Continuing Education programs

Course Syllabi

To obtain a copy of a course syllabus, students may contact either the professor, who instructed the course, or the appropriate academic department for which the course was offered.

Course Descriptions

Current students may obtain course descriptions through their Self-Service account by viewing the course information when using the “Search for Sections” feature located in the “Registration” section on the Self-Service Student’s Menu.

Students and Alumni may also obtain course descriptions through Coursefinder or in the University Bulletin.

Please note that these options reflect only the most current course and academic information. For students or Alumni, who are requesting course descriptions not reflected in any of the above mentioned sources, please submit your request for course descriptions by email to Registrar@fdu.edu

Information required to process request for course descriptions:

  • Your full name while enrolled at FDU.
  • Your student ID number/last 4 digits of Social Security Number.
  • The exact title and course code for each course you are requesting descriptions for.
  • The year and semester each course was taken.
  • The exact mailing address or Fax number of where descriptions are to be sent.
  • Contact phone number.

Early College Dual Enrollment (formerly Middle College):

If you attended Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Early College Dual Enrollment Program while in High School, you must have your student ID in order to place your transcript order. To acquire your student ID, please contact earlycollege@fdu.edu
