Bookstores

There is a bookstore on each campus where students and employees can purchase not only textbooks and school supplies but also fiction and nonfiction books, gift items, sweatshirts sporting the Fairleigh Dickinson University insignia, newspapers, greeting cards, snacks and sundries. Many items are offered to employees at a discount.

Cafeterias

Cafeterias are located in the Student Union Building at the Metropolitan Campus and in the Student Center at the Florham Campus.

Campus Activities

A unique advantage of working at the University is the broad range of concerts, lectures and social activities available to employees. There are lecture series, seminars and conferences on each campus. In addition, student athletic events and some other student events scheduled through the Student Affairs offices are open to employees. Watch for announcements. Contact the Athletics Department for information regarding the recreational facilities in the Ferguson Recreational Center at the Florham Campus and the Bogota Savings Bank Center at the Metropolitan Campus, which are open to employees and, in some instances, their family members.

Libraries

Library resources on each campus are available to all University employees. A University identification card is required to gain access.

Free Parking

Employees are provided with free parking in designated areas. A parking decal is necessary and must be obtained at the campus Public Safety Office. All campus parking regulations must be adhered to and any fines resulting from parking violations must be paid in a timely manner.

Identification Card

A photo identification card, issued to all employees must be obtained at the campus Public Safety Office.
